Best glucose disposal?

Glycophase or just straight barberine (or Glucovantage) for me when I need/want some blood glucose control.

Now days, people tend to lump GDA's and blood sugar control supplements in the same category.

GlycoPhase for true GDA properties - in the sense of helping make your carbs work for you and helping with muscle building, fat loss, nutrient partitioning, etc.

GlucoVantage XT for those looking for blood sugar control.

In my experience GlucoVantage XT is also very good for fat loss and, used responsibly, very good for damage control if you get cravings and need a little cheat meal once in a while.

Ive tried so many. Used to buy r-ala from ast-ss in 2004 for like 30$ a bottle, two months supply , was way overpriced back then. Since then yellow gold, from the nutraplanet store. Prime , was the name? they came in packets and were really strong I forget the names. Went hypo in 2008 at work, when took one, startes another project, thought would be okay,, didnt get to eat, hypo

Na-r-ala , berberine, which may raise dopamine, which didnt see the study, heard about it on interview with Dorian Yates , berberine is mostly synethic as well, even though what is it 600 mgs is on parr with metformin at higher doses. I opt for natural supplements, example went to locval wal mart to buy vit e , saw it was the dl version, didnt buy it , found the natural d version on amazon, and in cart , when order next

so just go with alpha lipoic acid, even though its s and r form, its still 50%. Have use ala many, many years now 200 mgs. Seen some research for more ala mgs, so bought 600 mgs capsules. Maybe will change back to r-ala, if can find good deal, idk, I feel ala is enough at 600 mgs. Been taking it mostly before bed, and does seem to keep leaner used at this time

I haven't tried it yet but we just started carrying this product at Strong Supplement Shop by Huge Supplements

Try it all with a glucose meter. I've had some supplements lower blood sugar lower than 1000mg of metformin. Everyone reacts very differently imo to lowering blood sugar and a lot of it has to due with genetics.

Berberine and cinnamon is my goto combo. In certain scenarios il add 12.5mg carderine with my last meal and it works incredibly well.

This is solid advice, while blood glucose measures aren’t the only benefit of some of these products this is a cheap and easy way to personally test how you respond.

It may even allow you to realize the dosages you need, through testing I’ve found even just 2 caps of Glucophase with a ton of carbs is enough for me.

Ya I really like the simplicity of something like Berberine + Cinnamon, one reason why I think the Glucovantage XT formula is a great choice.

I'm gonna try it next bulk. It's already in my plan for the winter. I do find I get better results on my meter with the regular berberine over the d-berberine but it's not a massive difference.

I've used probably close to 100 GDA, blood sugar control and nutrient partitioners in the past, and have tested every one against my blood glucose monitor. Keeping as many of the variables the same with every one of them. The two best are SNS's GlycoPhase and SNS's GlucoVantage-XT. I would advise that you start at 2 caps of GlycoPhase and/or 1 cap of GlucoVantage-XT and adjust/move up from there. GlucoVantage-XT is no joke, it's probably the most powerful GDA/blood sugar control supplement ever.

what kind of results do you get? i'm trying to get lean as possible drop more body fat.

I've loved project ad matador, astro flav gda, infinis nutrition gda. Ive tested matador and chemix gda wit my monitor. I've been using astro flav each carb meal dending on carbs and same with infinis and saw a slightly recomp effect with no direct changing of diet

I think the biggest benefit to this catagory/type of supplement is better utilisation of things like carbs and making them work for you by shuttling them towards muscle/lean tissue rather than fat stores.

how do you recommend taking them? my biggest meal would probably be lunch or dinner. my first meal is around 12, workout at 3 and dinner around 5:30 or 6.

I usually take 2-4 caps of GlycoPhase about 25 minutes before meals, 1 cap per 15g of carbs. I'll add 1-2 caps of GlucoVantage-XT for carb heavier meals or meals out, with the GlycoPhase, again, about 25 minutes before.

What’s the point of the Leucine dose there? It’s not on the label and it’s almost used as cap filler? Idk if I’ve ever seen leucine on a label like that.

I never seen leucine on a label like that either. I thought the same. Possibly a printing error? If used as a filler why would they use specifically 350 mgs? They also have mag labeled same section as 20 mgs… I think it’s a simple printing mistake. Now I’m curious , I just emailed them.

Eagerly awaiting this. Put me down for 6!

Thank you. Just got the new GlucoVantage XT multi-packs posted.

Will write a post to detail it now.

They list out the excipients on all of their products.

Like if the use 3 things as flow agents, they'll list the dosages or approximate dosages. There's not enough flow agents in anything to matter, it's just part of their marketing.

The reason why most brands don't do that is because let's say that one batch of raw materials is fluffier than a previous batch and you can't fit as many mg. of excipients in there, then the brand would be having something incorrect on their label for basically no reason (bc they're not required to specify it to begin with).

I figured it’s just some sort of brand marketing thing with their name being “transparent”, more just wondering why they’d even choose Leucine.

The transparent one, has been sending me emails and texts. I didn't sign up for it nor have I used them or anything before they started sending me all there overprice adds.

Here is the reply from TL. I saw it as well but paid it no mind really until you mentioned it

Ya I get that I figured that’s the case I guess I’m just more wondering isn’t leucine more expensive than other things they can use. Maybe not though.

It’s just like how Nutrabio lists all their “extras” as well, but feels more like marketing to my cynical self (even though I guess I can see some utility, most things have positives and negatives).

I don’t want to continue to clog this thread with such an off topic mind wandering though.
