In my experience liver values are not affected by sarms but supression is significant, especially with YK (which is not really a sarm i guess) and LGD.Just gonna toss this out there, and the sarms guys can chime in since I’m no expert on these drugs; but there’s dozens if not hundreds of logs where guys used sarms and had labs that showed trashed lipids, elevated liver enzymes, and pretty much indisputable suppression. So my question(and I apologize for the hijack) is if many have side effects similar to aas, are they really a validated alternative?

To make a blanket statement on Sarms crashing lipids, suppressing, basically hinting at the negatives vs. the positives, I feel its up to each individual and how you design to run your cycle.
I look at my body for instance as a science experiment, meaning, when/if I do a cycle, I put in the time, effort to research what I'm putting into my body, then I run it and see how I feel.
In terms of suppression, I've read a ton of threads where everyone says LGD gives them E.D., yet I ran a stack with 10mg of LGD for 8 weeks and my libido was way strong, raging morning wood, I feel the rad140 I ran with it, was the test base as that was a low low dose of RAD.
So what I'm getting at is, will Sarms replace Steroids? No. But they can accelerate recovery, and help you build muscle, if you take your cycle run seriously.
In terms of sides, I know real roids, can cause enlarged organs. Have yet to see anyone running Sarms with this problem. Also I never experienced hair loss or gyno which can happen when running roids. Again, both are great for making gains, it just depends on your preference to which you prefer and how your body responds to either.
