Well, bodybuilding is my life and everything else is just a hobby.

Reading, checking out cars, mountain biking, personal training, hiking, walking around downtown with my wife, sometimes I will just sit and look at the mountains. Not sure if that last one is a hobby or not but my life would not be the same without it, very serene.

Screw Microshaft bro. Throw Redhat 9 on there and you'll be up and running in no time.

Playing guitar......watching any type of fight, wrestling, cage fighting, boxing ect.....Also watching any type of sexy females...porn, swim suit comps ect. Reading and learing about bodybuilding. BBQing, drinking beer....BSing with friends.....the last three all go together. Wish I could have all you guys over for t-bones n beer, so you could check out my monster BBQ pit....you could easily cook a side of beef in that thing. LOL!

As if anyone really cares what I get into but here it goes:

  • I'm a child of the 70's and 80's so any music from that generation.
  • When I was in the Army I was in the 75th Inf. in Benning so I still pay for the occassional sky diving weekend...man while on active they PAID me for maintaing my airborne qualification and now I PAY to continue the passion.
  • COMPUTER PROGRAMMING!  I am proficient in everything from C++, Java, HTML, PHP, MySQL, XML, Flash, and even VB.
  • Given my background in military service I enjoy endurance activities.  Yes, even while bulking I will still run a 10K every other day...a lifestyle is a terrible thing to change ;)
  • Of course...let me not forget my teaching interests!  I also teach chemisty at local community colleges and also fill in for advanced courses such as senior level P-chem at the university.
  • My last hobby is applying theoretical concepts to abstract projects.  I just completed a project geared towards application of single and multi-bubble sono-luminescense to spectroscopic techniques of traditionally hard to characterize species such as chloride.  For those in the know...I HAD A SPEC LINE FROM CHLORINE USING NOTHING MORE THAN SOUND WAVES!  Try that with a plasma spectrometer and a nitrogen purged detector!!!

I agree, I don't like Microshit either. A client of mine brought over a hub and computer with the software already on it. Free is a good price. Redhat is easy? Never dealt with the server side of things, and dont want to screw it up.

Thanks for the idea, I will see about getting hold of Linux.
