Bent Barbell?

I recently moved and switched gyms. At my new gym there is a large curved barbell. I've never seen anything like that before. Just wondering what it used for.

Neither, it looks like a regular barbel, but its curved.

No way, it actually looks pretty new, and its one of the thicker shiny silver colored ones.

That's bending because of the weight, the bar I'm talking about looks more like it was pre-bent at the factory.

It is most likely a buffalo bar. It is used for squatting to take some pressure off the shoulders and elbows.
