Thirdly: you might want to consider asking this in the Training or Exercise Science forums instead of the "General Chit-Chat" forum.

Also, your screen name and posts makes you seem a bit obsessed with your bench press, if that is the case, you could easily be over-training the muscles needed to perform the exercise.

well thats about everything said right there, to give you better info you would need to post your diet and current "bench" routine, otherwise check out SS/5X5/531 bascially any good powerlifting routine.
