For everyone with too much time and who wants to show me what a puzzy I am:
Beat my numbers!

Here a bunch of exercises everyone can do. I regularly will edit this first post, according to new records and exercises.
Just post the exercise and your numbers below. I'll post names and new records in this first post.

-Be aware, all exercises with good/perfect form.
-All exercises are 3 minutes
-check youtube if you don't know the exercise, or ask here

3 min. DB triceps floor extensions (did it on a flat bench):
2x15 lbs (I used 2x 7.5kg, 16.5lbs) x100

3 min standing DB curls, 1 rep = left+right
HGP: 2x15 lbs (I used 2x 7.5kg, 16.5lbs) x70 (140 if counting every move, alternating)
@MrKleen73 x96

3 min Decline crunches, hands crossed over chest, lowest notch (easiest)
x82

3 min Bradford press, olympic bar, every move counts (front to back =1; back to front =1)
x154

3 min Smith Squats , 10lbs each side (I did with 5kg/11lbs each side)
x66

3 min Incline press machine life fitness, 42kg/92lbs
x115

3 min Lat pull down 120lbs

x57

3 min Lateral arm raises, front arm raises, 1/4 behind raises all 3 combined 2x10lbs (I did with 2x 5kg = 2x11lbs)
x138

3 min db shrugs , 40lb db's, Dbs on side of hips..straight up...squeeze.. repeat...no shoulder rolling
@BOSSMAN x141

If anyone claims numbers too good to believe, I demand a video. If someone doubt my numbers, I'll make a video.

*if someone demands video proof -and proof was met, the doubter has to do the same challenge again, with video, to see him suffer too

*will try to beat any new or suggested exercises. Keep in mind, low weight/high reps. No max weight.

Too much cardio for me I’ll waste away. I shall observe and cheerlead
Its not inviting enough for lifters. But I swear you can build a physique on it, if done from time to time.
Not that I'm good at those exercises, I would like to get my arse kicked for motivation.

I may give some of these a shot, let you know. But I’m typically a much higher intensity guy. I like using the big weights. Still, could be fun.

10lb db
Lateral arm raises front arm raises 1/4 behind raises all 3 combined
109 reps
Thanks!
Will try that -but honestly, a better challenge would have been only one exercise for 3 minutes, like only lateral raises.
I guess I have to do all 3 exercises faster to beat the number, I will look like a ceiling fan when doing them. :)

BTW, looking good, hard and lean!

Edit: Will try to beat that number tomorrow, on arms day, stay tuned. Be warned, I'm somewhat shoulder strong. Muhahahaha!

You first! With 2x15kg (33lbs) or in "american-units" 2x30lbs (sh1t, I always have to do them heavier, same with the 10lbs DB's, for me its 11lbs).
Just put a number out.

Something no one thinks about are farmer walks. Load up 225 and see how long you can walk before your grip gives or your traps explode. I did 500 yards yesterday and ripped open 2 calluses. I feel like a man. Lol

Ok, so I am not built for strength endurance currently. Hex press numbers for 3 mins:
70’s (140 lbs) for 43 reps.
Too high a weight for 3 mins. Meh, I tried lol

My trainees don't have the strength. Has to be low weight so everyone can do it. We are not all monsters like you, LOL. If I would try, my guess is: max. 30 reps -and a stain in my undies.

At a minimum not as masochistic as you anyway right!

I think I might try finishing off my upper body tonight with the DB Curls and maybe the 3 Way Lateral Raises if I have anything left in me. It will hurt but those are the 2 I am pretty sure will benefit me more than tear me down at this point.

A great way, and underutilized tool in our arsenals, to get in different variations with any suitable weight are landmines. I sometimes will set aside 30-45 min and just stay in the corner doing a variety of tear inducing exercises with the landmine. A nice one earlier this week I am still feeling:

Squats w/BB held at shoulder height- burns shoulders and traps at same time
Sumo deads- stand on step up blocks or even plates
Bent over rows
Single arm rows
Single arm shoulder press

Okay so I got 96 on the 15 lb DB curls. Had a massive pump of course!

I started the 3 way lateral and got to about 20 when I realized I didn't turn on the timer. I got to 40 and failed the tried to start again got 4 more and could barely move them so I called it. Probably 90-120 seconds but I was toast...

96 each arm (192 counting every move, when alternating)? That is a new record -will be very hard to beat. I knew something like that was coming, LOL.
Did you do them alternating?

Added to "hall of fame" in first post.

Yes 96 per arm, but I did not do them alternating, just locked my elbows in at my side and went for it with both hands at the same time. I remembered you saying to only count what you did with each arm not each alternating rep so I figured just do them at the same time and no confusion possible. If alternating was a rule then this doesn't count but it was fun anyway! :D I didn't look this back up and thought I had to get over 100 not to embarrass myself. Whoops oh well it made me push harder!!!!

Can we add in challenging position holds for time? I have a challenging and ass whooping one that would be fun...

Holding a handstand against a wall for time. Key is you must keep shoulders shrugged and be fully extended so you are not resting on the joints. Just do it for time and report how long you were able to hold the position correctly. This will get every push muscle on your upper body a nice occlusion workout and a massive pump a few minutes after.

45lb weighted plank for max time

300 yards walking lunges for time

200 Burpees for time.

LMAO I could go on for days coming up with little fun torturous things to do...

Yes! Put some numbers up!
I post exercises and results in first post.

Good idea doing it for time!:
How long does it take you to do "x" x = any exercise and reps

How long does it take you to do 100 reps BB bench with 135lbs?
How long does it take you to do 300 push ups?
How long does it take you to do 100 reps Deadlift with 135lbs?
and so on....

Shortest time wins.

Well, I did the curling challenge to beat @MrKleen73 's curling record with 2x15lbs DB's (mine were 2x16lbs, 7.5kg), for 3 minutes.
x 91
Pump got unbearable at the end -and snot started flying out my nose.
Damn! I came close. He is still the champ with 96.
Gonna wait 14 days and try again.

I just reflected about this exercise. It can't be beaten. You have only 180 seconds to do it (3 min). One rep = up and squeeze, will take a bit longer than a second, meaning, you already maxed it out. If I do more than 141, the form would be bad (reps too quick). You sneaky bastard! LOL!
I suggest doing it with 60's DB's.

You did a entire workout like that? Dang! A whole body pump would leave me crippled for 2 days, LOL.
Gonna do some of it to try. Cables for competition are tricky, I suspect machines vary too much.
Worst thing that could happen is, we grow some muscles anyways.

Yes sir!! Didnt really have a plan so rolled with it.
Sityp numbers are horrible compared to my 18 year old son. He just took his physical for dept of natural resources and dam near got that in a minute.

I felt great while doing the workout and feel good now. Of course I'm a lil sore, pumps were 100%.

Hope to feel nice and full and tight tomorrow. Got front row pit tickets to a concert!!

These types of sets are addictive aren't they? I was playing around and found a set and rep scheme I am loving right now. Just mixed up a bunch of different things I like to make a workout I would really enjoy that could push me to some new heights while still keeping total weights lower and intensity high. Posted that up in my log, give it a shot if you ever want to try something new when you don't have a plan. I am loving it right now.
Haha! You seem to like that form of training! I can't keep up with all of that...
Right, that's a lot of them! Plus we got to get him to do some of them fresh to see what he gets. Agree on needing more weight for his shrugs but I don't think he should add weight. Just invert them with the 40's!!!! Yep do overhead shrugs with the 40's I bet it will light your ass up!!!! Plus make them suckers big from the front like my doppelganger here... LMAO...
