I heard you have to make like 150k a year to live on long island, is that true?
No, you don't have to make that much to live here. The cost of living just takes a disproportionately large chuck of your income and the taxes suck ass. Apartments are scarce, many people split houses. If you want to live in an apartment, be it in a house or in a complex, where you're reasonably sure your car won't be stoled, you have to shell out well over 1200 bucks. That's for studios/one bedrooms, depending on the area. You can get lucky, I know people who have found okay apartments for under 1000 a month, but it's because they knew someone, knew the landlord, etc. When I was considering moving to Florida once I compared prices of comparable apartments up here and down there. What would have cost me around 700 down there ran around 2400 up here.

As for houses, anything under 300,000 will require you to spackle bullet holes and ignore the crack addicts out front. A married couple I'm friends with found a house for under 300 Gs. It's in a bad neighborhood and right on a major highway. It's what you deal with when you live up here. The further east on the island you go, the cheaper it tends to get, posh places like the Hamptons excluded of course. But that decrease in cost comes at the price of a long ass commute to work on the LIE, the Long Island Expressway, more properly known as the largest parking lot on the planet.

If you want to live here you basically need 50,000 or more a year. That'll get you a decent apartment. If you've got someone to live with, it gets a little easier on two incomes.

Wow, that's really expensive.

I got a job offer in Fairfax, VA. The housing prices are similar, except you have to go towards DC to really find bad parts ot town. Anyway, the apartments were double what I'm paying here in the south. So, I said forget it and stayed down here after college. Too cold and too expensive in the N.E.

I don't blame you.....I love Florida. I'm not planning on moving anytime soon either. My brother is a doctor in Manhattan right now and says he hates living up there. He's a born and raised Florida boy also. Can't say that I blame him either.

I've been around this country, a few places. Tennessee, California, Oregon, Florida, Maine, Indiana. All nice places. To be honest, despite the prices there's no place I'd rather live than in NY. Everywhere else just seems to move too slow for me. Here, even on the island and in the suburbs, there's always something to do. When I visited my friendMike in Indiana, I swear it was like everything closed at 5PM.

Please don't lose any more size on that thing. Where I am from white girls got back. Song in my head turns on, " I like big butts...". I would like to see you doing more leg workouts, as the track star ass is very sexy.

Two issues to cover here folks...

1. Your butt is not too big. Not even close. Period. IMHO that is.

2. I offer personal training services...however... BOBO is the trainer of all trainers :) He will get u where u want to be in the quickest time possible.

Ok, after seeing your pic in "Be Kind 2" - I just had to look for "Be Kind 1". Yes, you're that damned hot, and worth digging up an older thread. LoL

You want honesty? I can only see a "pouch" in the 2nd pic, not the 1st or 3rd. But I understand the personal obsession with it, as I am with mine - only I don't have a valid medical excuse for it. :)

BUT I have to say this - WTF!! Bubble butt? I'll be as honest as I can. My most favorite part on the female body is the butt. I consider myself somewhat of a connaisseur in that area. I like FIRM and ROUND butts. I don't like big butts, and I don't like small butts. The tolerance allowed in the "Prime" area is very little (yes, I can be superficial).

I LOVE your butt. Pic #3 is my favorite. (Although pic #1 makes me weak in the knees...I'm also a sucker for a tight stomach). Ok: butt, stomach and legs maybe in that order. And yes, I do like girls on the thinner side, which makes you MEGA HOT! Trust me on this (or the millions of other similar responses you've been getting). Most girls would kill to have a body like yours, and most guys will kill too...

The ONLY thing that would scare me about you - the ONLY thing, is that if you focus so much on something on your body that most guys quite honestly won't even notice (my heartrate increases a bit with each look), I'd be afraid of what you'd think of some of the "non-perfect" parts on my body that I though I previously have comes to terms with.

Remember, negative energy breeds negative energy. I'll be sending positive thoughs your way to help you through this challenging section of your life (healthwise). You will get better, good things just happen to good people - just keep thinking positive. :)

Hi wranglergirl... First of all, you look fantastic.

Secondly I wanted to address the "pouch" concern you have and perhaps offer a solution.

I have always suffered with a "distended stomach". It was nothing too serious and most people would never have even noticed it. But it was something I obsessed over for the better portion of my life. Particularly once I began modelling professionally. I became completely pre-occupied by it. Even with a bodyfat of <10% and clear cuts between my abs I still felt that the lower part of my belly was not as flat as it should be. I would see other guys/models with far higher bodyfat percentages and they all had flatter stomachs than me.

This issue caused me to "cut" a lot more than was really neccessary and has hindered my size gains throughout the years.

However about 6 months ago I discovered what was causing it. Wheat/gluten intolerance.

It sounds crazy but once I removed the above from my diet and gave my body a chance to adjust, my stomach went perfectly flat. I can now afford to put on a few extra pounds while bulking without looking like a pregnant hippo.

My point is perhaps your "pouch" isn't actually a pouch at all. Perhaps it is a bloated stomach caused by some sort of food intolerance such as the one I suffer with. Lactose intolerance is apparently another very common cause of a bloated stomach. Although you may think that your "pouch" is a pocket of fat (just as I did) you may very well find that it actually contains no more fat than the rest of your lower abdomen, it's just that the fat in that area is pushed out by bloating.

Of course the above might not be applicable to you in any way but it though it would be worth mentioning as discovering this has changed my life. I hope this post was of some use to you.

Good luck! And you look stunning by the way. Pouch or no pouch. :)

interesting

Hey girl, if you lost your perceived "pouch" and "bubble butt", you'd just end up looking sickly and anorexic. In fact, the fact that you are even questioning these perceived "flaws" is a sign of anorexia.

I have to confess, I look at these piks, (mostly the first one), quite often just to help me get my mind off of things. I just realised that I never posted here, and you probebly see the view count going way up.... I'm guilty.

BTW you are beutifull, you look very lean and athletic. Me likey. :)

I'm proud of ya :)

Thanks

whoaa.

I guess we can't help what were allergic too. I found out Im allergic to bee stings and with my job landscaping I get stung alot. So now I have to carry around an adrenalin shot so I don't die.

Just wanted to say I am impressed that you could figure it out. I have seen this many times since I have the same trouble. Yet even when people stick to the wheat-free/gluten-free diet for a week or so, feel better, look better, etc. they STILL go back and convince themselves that it's not a problem

In fact, most people who "just can't lose weight" find that they start to add muscle once they "go on a diet". What's the first thing they start to get rid of...? Not a coincidence!
