im happy the NHL is back, although I'll never make it there... I'm better at roller hockey anyway... :)

Quite a few kids I knew from high school got drafted just a year ago before the lockout. I'm happy to see that they will hopefully get a chance to play - it's special for them because being from the Washington DC/Baltimore/Northern VA area - there aren't too many that get that chance.

Hopefully the pro game gets its flavor back - it's been kind of blah since 2000 (my opinion)

yeah my NHL dreams have been over for a while, but I still have the love for the game. I play pickup ice and roller hockey now. In a sick way, I've missed watching the Bruins break my heart over and over again.

Agreed, i think the new rules (elimination of the 2 line pass, decrease in goalie equipment, salary cap) will add alot more flavor to the leage
 
I think they need a decrease in teams. Keep hockey in the mainly in northeast and canada. Hartford anyone? I didn't hear about the two line pass - that alone will be a defenseman's nitemare.

Actually no.....its very cute, mom is 5'6 and dad is 6'4 :) so you can tell who i take after......

Surprisingly, I've been reeled in by the eyes. Figured it would've been something else. If those truly are your eyes in the avatar, I may have to make a trip to RI to see my Aunt's brother's sister's mom's best friend who used to date my Uncle's sister back in the day.
