BCAA Help please!

hey guys, was wondering how many pills of these i should take a day while cutting? weight training 5 times a week and cardio 3 times a week (friday, saturday & sunday morning)

when taking bcaa is there such a thing as too much? if you take more than your body can absorb, you just pee out the rest right?

Your body will absorb it all, the question is how much of it will end up being used for your intended purpose. Protein synthesis is rate limiting so what your body doesn't need at the time, it's probably going to try to use the aminos for energy instead.

Exactly. and the thing is BCAA's are better utilized spaced between meals 4-6 hours apart. Ill let cooper chime in but he suggests EAA's for intra-workout and BCAA's for pre training. Now this would also vary on when you train and your nutirtion. If you train first thing upon waking, slamming some BCAA's would be a smart thing to do while training catabolic after an overnight fast, and some EAA's intra-workout with meal 1 following. But Layne norton has some good research to back his stance of meals 4-6 hours apart with BCAA's between (5g Leucine) To allow protein levels to reach refractory stages before being spiked again
