FINAL REVIEW:

Taste: 8/10 - Make sure you mix one (or two) scoops with minimal water. Maybe 1/4 of a standard water bottle. It mixes perfectly and tastes fine. Not gritty, not even close to overly sweet.

Ingredients: 9/10 - I love the fact that the "other" ingredients are just natural flavorings and stevia. Really great considering most companies just drop a bunch of BS flavorings and dyes into the mix.

Effects: 10/10!!! - I haven't been able to run like this in ages. I used to get winded after only 15 minutes of decently paced running. Now I'm about to go for 40+ minutes at a time!

Alright guys. Thursdays and Saturdays I have pretty intense running/training. A lot of the guys I train with cardio on these days generally beast me on the field after awhile of running. They're a lot lighter... I'm around 195 at 5'10", pretty lean.

Saving this post for FINAL REVIEW!

Day 1:

Doing high reps this week due to trying to deplete glycogen. I have a modeling gig coming up on Sunday and I want to get that supercompensation the day of the shoot. So right now I'm on 50 gram carbs per day until Saturday.

Workout was very easy considering my reps were way higher than normal. Didn't feel winded at all considering I was doing 15-20 reps per set at 60-90 seconds between sets. A good first day!

Can't wait to see how I do running tomorrow!

Day 2:

Hit back today. Again a high rep workout.

Generally I can't keep up reps with pull ups unless I give myself 2-3 minutes rest between sets... but I was cranking out sets of 12 on BW pullups and maintaining reps even with just 60-90 seconds rest. Very surprised.

Does Cordygen usually work this fast? I don't know if there is a build up time or not.

TOMORROW - get to run around and really test this stuff out ;)

Alright good, have my boys in here.

Can't wait to see how my carb-depleted body handles running later today. Come on Cordygen don't fail me now haha

Cordyceps are very fast acting but also depend on the person. Sounds like you are a good responder so this should be a very promising run for you ;).

DAY 3:

Today felt pretty good. It's day 3 of no carbs and I was definitely feeling it. Legs felt like sacks of bricks. BUT I wasn't huffing and puffing like I usually am an hour into drills. I think the cordygens is really pulling in for me, especially after 3 days consecutively using the supplement.

Saturday is another big running/cardio day, so we'll see how that goes.

Anyone have any questions as far as dosing, taste, etc.? I'll be posting a final review later but wanted to cover any bases if anyone has questions

Curious if you have used any other cordyceps products before and how this compares? I've used MST's c5 before and liked it, but didn't find nano as potent so am curious to see how others respond

Looking forward to seeing how you fare with this during low carb cardio feats.

I'll be doing the same soon as well, keeping carbs strictly around weight training sessions, but RPG/Cordygen during cardio (fasted, no carbs)

As a reminder, this is a sponsored log. Any updates?

Hey guys! Updates will continue! I was on vacation in the Outer Banks this week. Update will continue tomorrow. Starting my training for a tough mudder so... the updates will definitely be relevant to the product!

Outer Banks? You're in my state! Love the Outer Banks, man!

Alright guys ran a 200 x 6 workout today. This is my first time back doing any kind of serious run workouts... practice is usually very short sprints with skill work worked in, so no real straight just running.

Usually when I try to start these workouts back up, I just give up. Running isn't my thing... I completed the full workout this time. It was painful, but by absolutely no means was I winded by the end. Mostly just muscular fatigue.

I can't YET chalk it up to the cordygen, but based on the performance boost it gave me before... I think it's safe to say the product is doing what it is intended to do.

The really running test comes on Wednesday for my 3 miler. Love to see what time I come in at!

Can't wait to see how the 3 miler goes. Excited for the results

That was the easiest 3 miles I've run in a long time. I used to run XC and Track, but after bulking up so much I've found that I just don't have the endurance capability that I used to. I end up dying about half a mile in to most runs (so pathetic!). I'm fast as **** at 400 and under, though.

Anyway, I ran the 3 miles in 21 minutes! Pretty GOOD considering that's 7 minute mile pace. Granted my fastest 3.2 miler (5k) several years ago was 18.38... but I was only 160 back then

3-4 miles again today, but intervals instead. It's going to be one hellish run in this heat

So... I was only planning on running for ~20 minutes today...

I WENT FOR 40! I haven't run that much consecutively in quite awhile... I think the cordygens definitely shines in the longer run department. I was pretty amazed... Interval run on a 4 incline on the treadmill... could have gone for days I think.

This is what I'm sitting on... hahaha

40 minutes? Wowza. That's intense, man. Congrats though. I'd be happy with myself if I ran for 15 minutes straight.

I'm going to feel like crap today playing though! haha. Gonna load up on the cordygen before hand. But this is mostly short bursts of speed with jogging intermixed so it shouldn't be too bad.

Gonna post up pics soon... I didn't do my regular speed workout as I was able to get 3 hours of frisbee in with my buds on this beautiful labor day.

40 minute run today... will post up ;)

I didn't have chance for the pics because I forgot... haha

EDIT:

AWESOME RUN! I felt like a champ! Again, I can't remember the last time running was this easy for me... and I'm a solid 196 at 5'10" right now. Even when I was 185 a year+ ago, it wasn't this easy. Not even close!

Saturday was a great day for the cordygen. Didn't feel winded at all playing a 4v4 full field game (usually 7v7). I was definitely running circles around guys that can usually (almost ;)) keep up with me!

Dude, you're a beast. I seriously need to start doing more cardio. That's what I'll have to start doing this week.

BBG, how far into this are you now?

Almost exactly 1 month. I should have enough to carry me into the 12 miler (mid october).

Semester just started so I'm reorganizing my schedule to fit around work, running and lifting. It ain't easy.

I'll be running tomorrow and I'll be getting a little extra workout in on Sunday (we decided to have another pickup game after saturday). And hiking on Sunday too... I'll update you guys tomorrow. It'll be intervals again!

I ended up going 40 minutes again. I took it easy because I'm playing today and tomorrow (usually I'd just play today) but everyone wanted an extra game on Sunday.

Dominated on the field this weekend. Again I was smoking a bunch of the guys on the field who are in the 150 lb. range. Feels good man ;)

Quick question... is there a problem taking the cordyceps with protein? I've been taking it solo, sometimes fasted (early saturday games).

Decided to just run a mile today. Ran a warm-up mile at 9:30. Stretched, etc. Ran my actual mile in ~5:45. Felt pretty good, definitely could go harder if it weren't for these damn calf pumps.

Should really test my 2 mile though.

BigBlackGuy - good to hear you've been dominating. Aren't you on a low carb diet as well?

I WAS on the low carb, but that just the lead-up to a photoshoot I have. I have another gig similiar to that one coming up later in October. But I'm training for a tough mudder (Mid october) and really need the carbs to keep up the heavy lifting/running schedule.

Final Review left in the second post. I'll be posting up after I run the tough mudder on the 12th. I have a little of the cordygens left that I'm saving for the run!

I'll be looking to get some cordygen, especially for heavy leg training and HIIT on lower cals. Solid review.

(Btw, BBG, check your pm on the other forum ASAPPPP, since it's max here anyways).

Sorry bud I get so many PMs on all the forums...

I really do think cordygen is one of the best endurance supplements out there. I even went into the log expecting little to no results... just due to general supplement skepticism... but damn was I wrong.
