BATHROOM SITUATION

So lately before work I've Ben waking up early to do my workout routine... After which I consume my stack of supplements I stack on Beta alenine pre workout XTEND pre and during my workout (four scoops) and then after workout one scoop more, like recommended by the bottle... Then I mix 3 scoops of my whey protein shake with a few grams of glutamine and my beta alenine pill (a few minutes after XTEND last scoop which I take immediately after the workout)... Well lately I've been going to the bathroom super often at work and taking huge dumps like I never have before this started when I began taking XTEND... I take my whey with milk instead of water is it possible that this causing such effect in me? And when I use the bathroom am I basically wasting all the supplements I've consumed causing them not to have an effect? Any recommendations could help PLEASE ADVISE as today I have had a very soft stool
 
Something similiar happens to me when I have to many protein drinks of certain brands, such as some muscle tech stuff(don't hate I got it for free).
 
Change your protocol, and try pre, and post, and before bedtime. See how that works, maybe something with strenuous exercise and supplementing during your workout+digestion may be causing these issues??

They whey protien or bcaa's may be causing lots of fluids to rush to your intestines and if you are taking a stim in the morning then this could make you have to go too...

BTW once your food turns to turds, the faster it is out of you the better.

I would give it a week or so, you may get used to it
 
Is it wasting the supps that I'm taking tho??? Are they still having their effect or not? Can reducing the amount of scoops of whey help?
 
I don't think you are wasting supps, by the time they get from your stomach to your poopinshaft I would think they are completely absorbed, especially if they are whey and bcaa...you are safe dude
 
I also forgot to mention that I've been eating these chocolate chip protein bars lately too and idk if it could be affecting me
 
eliminate things one by one and see what changes, id give it two days of being off something before you put it back in. Try not eating the bar for 2 days and take everything else as normal, if that doesnt stop it, take out the protein, i have rarely heard of BCAA or beta alanine causing diarrhea, but protein and bars can definately do that...
 
definitely the protein bars.same thing happens to me.

Most bars will make you poop more often and taking in so much liquid at one time will flush out your system.

It does not mean that you are not absorbing the supps however.

Many people who use a lot of shakes say they poop more and they think that they are
just ****ting out extra protein. It is not that simple. your body stores extra calories as FAT and any extra poop is due to the fact that extra nutrients cause more waste products after processing and combined with more liquid in your system causes faster removal which is a good thing. You do not want stools "sitting around" in your body.

It is an odd thing for people to associate peeing and pooping with something negative when actually you should be eliminating waste products relative to how much you are ingesting. It is all those people who rarely pis or poo that have issues.
 
I do think it is kind of funny that this is a doo doo related question and your s/n is
"bi0hazurd". Sorry I had to point that out.

Also I take four scoops of xtend intra-workout as well. I usually skip the last scoop right after the workout and just drink my whey.
 
^ lol thanks.... and anyway problem solved im no longer going to the bathroom as much im just a bit more hungry at work now lol thanks for the help
 
Ok so I hadn't had the problem for a while but today it re ocurred and I have soft stool again I'm seriously worried I'm wasting my supps like this... I think it might have to do with the fact that I'm not blending everything well I'm usually in a hurry and don't have time any thoughts on that?

Personally I would say it is the type of protein. Try buying a different brand. A few years ago when I tried Nitrotech hardcore it did that to me and I hated that stuff with a passion.

maybe you should just reread some of the replies youve already gotten.idk what else youre expecting to hear?someone else also mentioned eliminate stuff one by one until you figure it out.also if you are still eating a bar or so a day its probly that.those things are sh*t anyways.
