You could try doing inclines, declines and dips and drop the flat benching. I find they bother my shoulders less but no one likes to give up flat benches because it's one of the ego lifts.

Yea I love the flat bench for some reason. Not really an ego thing, I just like the exerices of lying flat and pushing heavy @$s weight off your chest, lol. Gives you a really powerful feeling. More so than many other exercises. At least for me anyways. I just might take your advice tho. We'll see how my shoulders are going next week. Conan IS a GREAT movie for sure.

Conan the Barbarian led me to pick up my first weight, It was 1982 and I saw it on "HBO"! It changed my life forever. I still love Conan's answer as to what is best in life? "Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of the women"!:duel:! Awesome creedo!! I was 19 years old and weighed about 165 lbs.!! 3 months later of grueling workouts and lots of protein powder, I weighed 195 lbs. 30 pounds in 3 months! At 19 years old I was oozing testosterone and machismo!:twisted: Of course, it wasn't sliced to shreds, but it was very dense and lean!!

This is ONLY my opinion bassgod, give the flats a break. After a few weeks off of them, I'd wager you'll be stronger on them like the second or third time back on them. For now concentrate on BarBell Inclines, Dumbell Inclines, pec-deck, and flies. Your chest will like the change. You won't shrink or get weaker either. Your flat bench strength will probably go up in a few more weeks!! Hang in there cowboy!!it's ALL good!!:head: P.S.---LISTEN TO PRO-PAIN!!:head:

I'm sorry piston. Was this me you are referring to with low-volume training. It's the only kind that works well for me. Dorin Yates style. Not for sissies:aargh:!! It's just doesn't take an hour or two to finish. After 2 or 3 warm-up ssets, it's time for 2 or 3 all-out sets!! Then, next exercise, you can probably get away with only 1 warm-up set. Then you can jump right into the heavy stuff full-bore! But I perform like 5 different exercises to hit the muscle from all angles. You get the idea. I always heard," You can either train hard OR long, but never both"!! I love my blitzkrieg-style!!:numbered: NO REST 'TIL VALHALLA!!!:hammer:

Yea, not much volume at all. This is purely a "put on as much mass as possible" cycle. 4-6 reps is the best range for strength and mass. So, I do this for 3-4 sets because well honestly, I probably could not even DO a 5th one, lol. Well, I could,but i'd only get like 4 or 5 reps, not the full 6. I'm not a powerlifter, so 4 reps just seems too low for me and 6 has been treating me pretty well so far. I like to keep my workouts down to about an hour too. This routine is perfect for that.

Yea, sounds like you're overtraining to me bro. However, with that "supplement" you're currentlly taking, i'm not sure it's even possible for you to overtrain, lol.:run: I've been doing low volume for the past few months. I started during my epi PCT and it actually allowed me to keep ALL of my gains and strength. I was doing about 8 reps then tho. I've only been doing the strict 6 rep routine for a month or so. When I say strict, I mean i'm giving it my all to get up that 6th rep. I'll be increasing my weight soon tho, because i've been getting a few extra reps here and there on many different exercises :) As far as how the training style is going for me, I think very well. I'm up 5lbs and this is dry weight, right when I wake up in the morning. I really haven't been drinking mass amounts of water like most do tho. I think this has another role is phera's being "wet." Bloat's worst enemy is not enough water. It does not aromatize, but it does make people carb sensitive. The carb sensitivity and people drinking gallons of water everyday will lead to bloating and water retention. This is also why people say they lost water weight in PCT. I'll repeat tho; Phera DOES NOT aromatize. LOL. It is Desoxymethyltestosterone. Do a bit of chemistry brothas.
 
I agree 5-8 reps seems to be the sweet spot for me as far as mass gains, though I've never been able to stick to it for longer than a month or two.(gotta get my pump on lol)

Back in the day I used to follow some of Arnold's roided out ass workout's. 5 exercises per body part 5 sets each at 10-12 repps that's 25 working sets for just bi's:jaw: at first I did actually see improvements but after about a month I was so burned out I could barley get out of bed in the mornings to go to work lol....I wonder why hu? I've always been all natural too so you can imagine my recovery from that.:rofl:

I didn't like R4W.I still have some though so I will use them again later.I'm thinking about taking a break from xlevol for a while.I don't think I'll need any help with pumps after taking m-drol and methoxy tst.If needed I'll start using the R4W during cycle.I wont need it at first though,I'm already pumped as hell........April2 :woohoo:

Thats exactly what I didn't like about it.I never felt anything and I took 5 caps the first time and the next 5 times or so.Didn't feel anything before or during the wo......just nothing.Like I said,I will try it again cause I still have them.
Then I bought xlevol and I love that stuff.I never feel wired or anything.Once I start lifting though.....IT'S ON!!!!Search try xlevol,It's my thread saying what I think about it.Heres a hint,I efing love it!

Eh, after a few workout of the R4W, its effects started to wear off. It really suppressed my appetite also. This is TERRIBLE for post workout nutrition. I'd just chug one of those big red bulls. I do this at work sometimes, and I get more energy from that than I did from R4W, lol. I don't recomend any song from under the knife. It was a poorly recorded album at a cheap studio. I'm not really a big fn of rise of brutality I DO recommend literally every song from supremacy. That IMO is the best album of theirs to date. They also changed their style a bit. It's more diverse in riffs and consists of more than just breakdowns. Hatebreed is the king of bada$$ b reakdowns IMO. From Satisfaction.... i recommend before dishonor, puritan, afflicted past, prepare for war, not one truth, betrayed by life, and mark my words. From perseverance, there are some good ones too, but really Supremacy is where it's at bro. The entire album is just SICKKK! The ones that REALLY get me fired up from that are give wings to my triumph, defeatist, destroy everything, as diehard as they come, and immortal enemies. They ALL are great for lifting and geting you pumped up tho. It's really hard for me to say these are the best ones, cuz I honestly can't say that, lol. They're all awesome.

Exactlty how it should be!How long before you go to bed do you take your l-dopa?I'm starting my cycle soon,but i'm going to start the l-dopa tonight to help sleep.Do you notice a difference in sleep with it?Is it easier to fall asleep?

I take it about 30-45min before bed. It DEF helps with a deep REM sleep. You'll notice when it starts to kick in because you will start yawning. This is a sign of GH release. Supposedly the usp labs l-dopa is equivalent to injecting 2iu's of GH. The sleep is very deep, the dreams ae EXTREMELY vivid, and quality of sleep is greatly improved. Yea, I fall asleep quicker when I use it. Your mood will also improve the next day with continued use. On top of all this, dopamine directly inhibits prolactin levels in the body. This supplement is just rediculously great, LOL. Start with just 1/4 teaspoon before bed. Too much of it can actually make you stay awake for much longer than usual. I cap mine. 1 size 00 cap is roughly 750mg or so.

I've seen thread after thread where it baffles even the best chemists. Obviously the nomenclature is BS and just for marketing mostly. But it seems to convert to test from the sounds of it. Bass does it give you some energy boosts and make you feel 'good' while on it?

I eat real heavy on cycle and it results in heartburn even tho I eat smaller portions every 2 hrs or so. Sorry 2 hi-jack but your opinion is appreciated and respected. Thanks again.

I do believe it's a good substitute for methyl-dht. It desn't give me energy like a red bull or anything, but after you pick up your first weight and start doing reps, you feel it. It makes your aggression skyrocket and your strength increase quite nicely also. I'd say it doesn't convert to test, however EVERYTIME I dose, almost exactly 1 hour later I get wood, LOL. It's weird. It's also great for mental focus during sessions. I love it for sure. Nobody knows what it is and I believe it's going to stay that way, since it's no longer being manufactured. You don't take all 3 of them do you? That'd be insane. I've had acid reflux forever now. I take the purple pill (nexxium) and it works great. But using one of the 3 you listed it wouldn't negatively effect absorbtion enough to change anything. Just stay away from Tagamet (Cimetidine). It can really mess with absorbtion and sometimes really enhance absorbtion but in those situations it's terror on your liver.

I'm sure you know what these are but for those who don't, they are proton pump inhibitors usually used to treat gastroesophageal reflux. With the exception of Zantac(ranitidine) which is an H2-receptor antagonist that inhibits acid production in the stomach. All of the mentioned medications are pretty much interaction free with most all other medications available. They are also metabolized in the liver just like everything else. These metabolites are thought to not really have any pharmacological significance. I can't say for sure, but from what I know about PPI's, I don't see why they would cause any absorption issues. Btw bro, ANY questions are OK in my threads. I love helping people. This is why I became a pharmacy technician in the first place and decided to go to pharmacy school, to later on become a Pharmacist. In the future, feel free to ask whatever or comment on whatever you'd like. Learn, teach, lead bro :cheers:

DAY 16: Delts/Traps

Started today's session with stretches and some warm-up sets of seated db military presses. I then went to seated bb military presses on the smith machine and did 140x6 for 3 sets. I think from now on, i'll be swapping this in for db military presses since i've been doing those for a long time. Afterward I did arnolds and actually used 55's rather then my usual 50's. I did 1 set using the 50's and got to 8 reps and was like "WHOO! LIGHT WEIGHT BABY!" LOL. So i went with 55's for the remaining 2 sets. From arnolds I went to db shrugs and did 80x6 for 3 sets. Another increase from my normal weight. I could possibly go higher, but when i lower them back down to my sides, i can feel the stretch hardcore in my shoulders. I'm really afraid of injuring my shoulders during this cycle, so i'm going to be carefu and play it safe. From shrugs, I went to the cables and did standing upright rows at 120x6 for 3 sets. To finish off a bada$s delts/traps session, I supersetted lateral and front raises at 30x6 for 2 sets. This workout was another great one. Awesome aggression from the TST and as you can see by the weight increases, the p-plex is starting to do its thang. As far as weight goes, i'm at a steady 185 when I wake up first thing in the morning. No back pumps yet or bloat. Acne is still there, but it's better than when I fist started the cycle. The java soap, b5, and generic proactiv kit are helping ith this.

Nice! Heartburn is a killer without my Prevacid. It also makes it really hard to gain weight because heartburn usually is the result of eating a steak and 8 eggs. lol. Anyways, nice log. I check in e.d. GET BIG BASS!:head:

Supremacy is F%$king sick. Also try some All that remains, Shadows Fall, God Forbid, or even Sub. verses by Slipknot. Any of these make me at least try to get an extra 10lbs. lol

Your doing yourself a favor giving up the smith presses. Your shoulders will thank you.

No, no, no. I am giving up the seated military db presses FOR the smith presses. I've been doing the db presses for months, so I thought now would be the perfect time to switch things up a bit. I think next week, I will do arms on saturday rather than delts/traps and switch my delts/traps to monday. This way, I won't be doing chest on thursday and delts on saturday. This should give my shoulers a nice break. The only thing is I normally do arms on monday, so this week i'll do arms Mon then again on Sat. I see no real problem with this tho. Just doing them a bit sooner than normal. Sorry if this post is confusing. I just got home from the woman's house and it's 3am, lol. Looks like I won't be up til about 11 tomorrow morning :ntome:
