Bas is an amazing athlete, incredible fighters, and funny.
Try some of his workouts and you will be impressed.

Bas sells some workout cds. They are a great workout but are geared towards Thai boxing/mma but could be used by anyone as a workout.
He is an amazing freak. He did not even start seriosuly training until his early 20's yet he went on to be one of the best fighters of his period.

Thats from his Lethal Street Fighting video. The whole video is basically him showing you how to kill and cripple people with chairs, forks, ketchup bottles, salt shakers and just about anything else you can get your hands on in a bar or restaraunt. It's hilarious.
 
Bas is the sh*t. In a recent interview he stated that there is a 80-90% chance of him coming back to fight MMA. Pride needs to get rid of Mauro and Trigg, and hire Bas back along with Rampage. Won't happen, but it would be nice.

It will be great to see him fight again. However, his body was rather worn down when he retired.
 
bas rutten came to my town to do some mic work for "king of the cage" he also gave a seminar to local MMA fighters. My buddies got some autographs and another buddy got him to record his voicemail message it goes- "hey this is bas rutten leave a message, if you dont ill punch you in the liver, after the beep thanks." Its hilarious and the best idea james ever had to get him on his voicemail, only problem is he will prolly never change it.
 
El Guapo is just an all-around bad-ass. Wish I would have seen this video about 3 months ago. LMAO!
