Hey guys.
Just wondered how use all were balancing anabolics and hematocrit/hemoglobin?
I've always donated blood. Well before anabolics tbh. Always just found it a good deed.
One thing they NEVER tell you is that frequent donations crash ferritin levels. For a long time I honestly just got use to the lower energy state. Just thought this was my baseline. I even went to the doctors and run a bloodwork panel and all looked good. Weirdly they don't test ferritin levels? I suspect that if people knew their ferritin is being crashed then they would stop donating blood? Weird one.
Also. My partners ferritin was also crashed from donating blood also. Range is 30 - 400. Mine was 16 and my partners was 13! So Yeh. Not good.
Running even TRT causes hematocrit to climb and theirfore it's recommended to donate blood a couple times a year. It's 3 donations here in the UK.
I'm on day 3 of the Vorck protocol. Raises Ferritin without impacting hematocrit/hemoglobin. I've ran it before and had crazy results. I mind last August I had my ferritin up at 113. Felt soooo much better. I usually do around 5 days then stop. It's not sustainable though. I switch my diet to OMAD and eat the most bland basic foods. You can't have any vitamin C or D. Ie too many fruits/vegetables and also no sunbeds sun or fortified foods. I'm not sure how strict this needs to be but I try and follow it perfectly.
How do you guys run extra compounds and still manage hematocrit? I recently ran 4 weeks of epistane and my hematocrit spiked pretty quick. This is why I recently donated tbh. Was getting all the symptoms. Within a day of donating I felt a ton better.
My partners sister can do phlebotomys. I spoke to my partner and we we're thinking of dumping 150ml of blood a month to keep hematocrit in check but not crash my ferritin levels? Is this more sustainable?
How do you guys keep it all in check? I do daily cardio. My water intake is high etc.
This is the only issue that my TRT + Additions does.
Is their any supplements that keep hematocrit a little lower?
I do bloodwork regularly. I keep myself as healthy as possible. I've been wanting to run other compounds but if it's gonna make me feel like I was prior to that blood donation then it really puts me off.
Any advice?
Thanks
