BACON - how much do you eat?

I'm telling you...if any of you have a Whole Foods nearby, try the Willshire brand peppered turkey bacon and thank me later. You'll never use another brand of turkey bacon again. Trust me on this!

So, the title pretty much explains it all... HOW MUCH BACON DO YOU EAT?

"There are several studies showing that bacon is linked to cancer and heart disease, but all of them are so-called epidemiological studies, which can not prove causation. Overall, I’m not totally convinced that bacon is harmful. But I’m not convinced that it’s totally healthy either. It is a processed meat after all."

I'm thinking with pastured raised pigs, including bacon in my diet (although not excessively) might not be as bad as I once thought. I'm tempted to throw a heap of skinless chicken breasts into the slow cooker with a couple pastured-fed rashers of bacon and mushrooms, onion, garlic etc. and just making a big serving of slow cooked casserole to eat for one meal a day through the week.

What is your stance on bacon and how often do you eat it?

Please note before you read any study.

Are they trained? Are they lean? do they have genetics for cancer? How is the diet they normally eat? Are they smokers? Do they like the show vikings?

These all have major impact in how a study is perceived and validated.

Remember. Just by exercising just 10 minutes a day we improve DNA, improve genetic markers and overall change the way food impacts us.

We can....believe it or not...remain healthier than the average person who eats bacon day after day because of lifestyle changes we on these forums all have made.

That being said. I'm just a small town bacon lawyer and I find this bacon perfectly legal.

(If you didn't catch that reference. ...it's fine. Eat bacon)

When I eat it, I eat at least a pound and I cook it in the oven. I usually only eat it by itself if I am keto and then it can range from 0-4 times a week.

Anyone else season theirs? I have been playing around with adding cinnamon and cayenne which is pretty good.

Keto breakfast

3 slices bacon
3 eggs
1 tbps natural peanut butter
1oz of cheese

Das it mane

Op, I like bacon, I get it from the butcher, and usually cook up a couple pounds on the griddle on Sunday, then me and my family eat it throughout the week. I enjoy bacon cold as well so often times I don't even hear it back up.

Like bacon jerky or something

With bacon I usually start at the pigs ass and work my way to the front... just like my women
:-)

I like turkey bacon better myself. Buy a bulk of it from Sams club. Also they say red meat is linked to colon cancer. If we are going to get cancer may as well be happy. Like the other guy said there are a lot of variables in the study. Sounds like b.s to me

That's not bacon. You might as well be eating tofu.

You guys must be looking at something else. It's not made from soy:
