i'm back to reality from a week in hawaii (kauai, oahu). Took the 2yr old on his first plane ride, those with 2yr old boys can imagine how that went.
From all the hiking, i lost some weight. Somehow I also caught a cold, must be the plane ride. Some actor from Lost was on the flight back as well.

each island has something different to offer
oahu is mostly touristy
maui has the most to do and doesn't take too long to drive everywhere
big island is biggggg, takes forever to drive places, still pretty and the lava is cool
kauai very lush/green, rains a lot but rain comes and goes fast, very slow pace and awesome
I haven't been to the other islands yet. If you want even more isolation and enjoy scuba/snorkeling, I'd pick tahiti for a honeymoon :)

awesome pics man looks like fun, im hitting Maui in september for my 1yr, after looking at the pics im ready to go tomorrow!
 
ok i added a few teasers from the my trip to the maldives from last december :)
The maldives are a chain of 1000s of islands in the indian ocean, it was a long trip from los angeles there.
 
im jealous.... i want to go to the maldives :(


my costa rica trip was amazing....my favorite vacation yet (out of florida, hawaii, canada, mexico, washington, maryland )....
