Okay, so I am trying to raise a decent son by myself and on Sunday we were at the grocery store and he asks if he can buy a scratch off lottery ticket. Well, after going on endlessly about how you always lose when you gamble and how hard work is what we need to strive for....yahda yahda yahda. I buy him one and the little bastard wins 100 bucks!!!!!!!


Okay, so I tell him that this is great but really unusual and he should count himself lucky! Well, he just came home with another lottery ticket (sister bought him one) and YES - HE WON ANOTHER HUNDRED BUCKS!!!!!! My kid, I think he may have the 'carny blood".

Anyway, buy your whey 'cause the kid and I are heading to Atlantic City.

Kinda hard to teach your kid about responsibility and probability when he always wins. If I send you some cash you think he can buy me some lotto tickets?
 
i know a guy like that...he's won 2 cars, lots of lotto money, and pretty much everything else he enters his name into win or when he goes to the boat to gamble...makes me sick how much this one guy wins....
 
How old is your kid? That cracks me up. Don't you just hate it when you try to give the standard parental "lecture" and get totally owned? Hope he saves those winnings for Gambler's Anonymous :D
 
10 years old!!!!!!! He has always been lucky this way......he wins on the midway games at The Devon Horse Show every year and he won the school raffle for free music lessons, it is really getting bizarre.

I just want him to use his talents for good and not evil.

lol.. lucky for sure.

A co-worker just one 7000 dollars hitting 3 small jackpots practically back to back to back (him and his wife were there for 30 minutes). It really piss's me off, cause I just won't reduce myself to playing slots... now if they had black jack or poker around here, that be a different story. :twisted:

My younger bro always wins / finds ****. He and his friend were in the movie theatre one day and his friend found $100 cash on the floor, and then while they were walking through the mall my bro found $100 cash on the floor. WTF? I probably would have been nice enough to ask "did someone drop this $100??" and the assholes who take it and run are the ones who find it :( lol....

Oh, and, I'm gonna jump on the "can I send him a few bucks to play for me, too" bandwagon :D
