I've only had good experiences with ATW. I always recommend ATW to people at work who tell me about the Nitrotech they just bought at 30 bucks for 2 pounds.

My only complaint is that on the new website you can't input APO addresses. You inputed it for me, but it would be cool to just be able to just do it through the website like the old one.

ATW is the ONLY protien I use other than unflavoured egg that I mix for my in between meal shakes. I only had one issue with the flavour, or lack there of and it was handled with the speed of a gazelle and professionally. My suggestion is lower the prices instead of these sales on top of sales. Another flavour is redundant for me as the spousal unit won't touch anything but orange, women can be a pain sometimes, but I wouldn't have a spotter if she didn't lift with me.

I am listening and I think that I might suggest that we have "loyalty" discounts. The new webpage is set up to remember you and I am thinking that we have incremental discounts for repeat business. Maybe this would work. I have to have the weekly specials to guarentee my job..........
 
So far the service has been horrible, I have emailed them on several occasions asking for a shipping confirmation and finally on my third email 4 days later I finally got a response with a UPS tracking number that UPS is telling me does not exist. Since then I have emailed ATW twice and have not heard a thing back.

Now having a good product with lousy customer service is only half the equation and there are too many other companies that sell a quality product with very good customer service, I think I will be trying the latter from now on.

The UPS tracking number normally takes a couple hours to work for me. ATW i'm sure prints out their own way bills for shipping but until it's picked up by UPS and scanned it doesn't work. So thats not an issue.

That is BS, you need to check and then re-check because I have replied twice to the email she sent yesterday with the bogus UPS number asking for a correct number or explanation as to why UPS did not have this number in there system.

The first email I used was the one from your website, which I got no response from, I then remembered that here at AM you had a forum so I looked up your other email address which is the wheystation@aol which I emailed you twice and on the second time you responded with the bogus UPS tracking number, since then I have replied with two emails and have still not heard a thing.

You know this could all be eliminated if you would step into the 21st century and include a UPS tracking number allocated to each order, you know like most e-tailers do (bodybuilding.com, bulknutrition.com, trueprotein.com etc, etc,) this would eliminate all this BS and after the order is processed they would get there email with all the shipping info they would need.

The only comment I will make is I wish all retailers, would provide a tracking number on all orders (without it having to be requested)... It's seems I never have a problem with the ones that do, and I always have an idea of where my package is... Otherwise, I'm left in limbo land, and I can't Limbo very well.

Tell me that the information has arrived? And always direct questions to me at [email protected]. I check in each and every day. We are not perfect. We are a very small operation and we make mistakes, but I think that our service is outstanding and above and beyond what most companies offer.

You are correct in wanting a automatic email of shipping confirmation and UPS tells me that we are going to implement this in about a week.

You know what.......All The Whey and EVERY other company that does business on line deals with this every day. All I can do is to be honest and forthright. Admit an error and try to do the best we can.

I know that I have personally worked very hard to keep costs low, quality high and problems to a minimum and these is all any good small company can do.

'word of mouth' is a two way street - The reason I am on the boards is to listen and I feel like I do that EVERY DAY and have never asked anyone to censor a post that is negative!!!!!!! So, you have hurt my feelings, but I am a big girl and will just work hard for the customers that have come to trust me and continue to make improvements, minimize mistakes and LISTEN.

You can read about the problem I had with the shipping time from ATW earlier in this thread...Well, Laura went above and beyond to make things more than right and I am very appreciative of it. It is people like her that will keep me as a steady customer. Thank you so much Laura.:thumbsup:

Yea, well at some point you can only make so many mistakes without it hurting your bottom line. And yes I do understand that mistakes happen, but it is how they handle the mistakes that will separate them from the rest of the pack. IE: Answering emails in a shorter consistent amount of time and without the smart assed comments, you know what I am talking about Maura, shall I post the nasty and uncalled for email you sent me yesterday?
 
Hey - Maura works in the office and she asked me to help out here. You DID NOT CONTACT me, but I want it all happy again. I read your email to her and it was not so nice, either. So, lets call it square and AGAIN, I ask that you email me directly at [email protected] .


I could get people to come out of the woodwork that would tell you just how HARD we work to make our customers happy.......but I tried to apologize and that is what I can do. 99 percent of the orders placed go smoothly and efficiently!!!!!! Nobody posts that because it was expected and should be!

I hope that you are happy with whatever company you choose to do business with.
 
I love your protein and I actually buy it off of Ebay which doesnt really change the price. It tastes great and is less than anyone else and I have bought protein from MANY other places. The 25-50 pound bags last me a lot longer than the 2-5 pound tubs. THANK YOU!

I was going to post a response to an individual that seems to be having an attitude issue earlier this morning but I was feeling a little bit nasty so I decided not to.

ATW (Laura), great job. I have placed a few orders and have received them all in a timely fashion. Granted, I place them BEFORE I run out so I am not left running for the door everytime I hear a horn or a truck pull up hoping it's UPS. Nor do I have scurry to the local vitamin shop and get overcharged for supplements. It seems to be a common theme on the board though, especially with PCT supplements. "I ordered on friday I start on monday, where is it?"

Anyway, I will continue to buy from you because:
1- Great Price.
2- Board Supporter.
3- Good Specials.
4- Quick shipping (try easypricematching if you want to experience long waits)
5- Like your attitude.

Keep it up.

ATW is a great company... everyone makes mistakes....and when they do just handle them like in a relaxed manner.....no reason in sending pissed off emails to people..... who wants to help someone that is being a jackass
 
I just tried the unflavored hydrolyzed isolate, but its got a flavor alright :rasp:

It's more like sheetrock flavored. You should definitely do something about that.

My point was that I was expecting something a little less innocuous not something that tasted so poorly. I like hydrolyzed proteins and this will impact my future purchases. If I were to consider buying hydrolyzed isolate from ATW it would need to have an improved flavor. I was not intending to be offensive to your company JMHO. From what I've seen re: your attitude, I figure you won't take my remark personally.

Back to my point. I offered some constructive criticism, "make it taste better and I will continue to buy it" is the main point. Any further issue with this please talk it over with a loved one or your local clergy because I am not interested in discussing it with anyone other than Laura.

Being from New Jersey you seem quite sensitive, but thanks for taking the time to post a response... delete it and then type a whole different post. Seems you are stirred up over this, why I don't know. I was asking because I was just curious what you were basing your "sheetrock" comparison as I have never tasted and other kind. But from your post about the flavored AST it seems you have never tried an unflavored isolate from a different company either. The point that I was trying to make is that you can't change the natural flavor of something with out ... flavoring it. It's like asking to change the flavor of baking flour... :frustrate

Someone may have asked this somewhere else already, but is the xanthan gum serving any purpose besides thickening the shake? I've heard some feedback that the shake is a little too thick though I'm fine with it. Maybe just a tad thinner will be perfect.

Besides that, all is good...i mean, all is GREAT.
