ATW Optimum Protein Blend review

I just wanted to get some feedback out there since I haven't really seen anyone discuss the new blend.

I am about 3.5lbs through my 5lb jug of the new blend - Chocolate Mint in flavor.

The biggest assurance that I received from this is that the flavor isn't different, which is a must because I'm in love with Chocolate Mint.

As I am cutting it seems the extra BCAAs added to this blend is very beneficial to my diet. Not that I substitute the shake for meals but as a lot of us now, BCAAs contribute to anti-catabolism.

So, for any of you out there thinking about trying the new blend, don't be afraid. Still the same great taste.

That's good to hear, thanks for the feedback. I placed my first order with All The Whey this Memorial weekend and it should be here tomorrow (come to think of it, it already is "tomorow" :food: ).

The timing actually works out perfect for me. The brand I've been getting has been out of stock for over a month and I'm down to my last two scoops, so I'm really looking forward to this. Plus the pricing is really really good, much better than my usual kind. I'm getting four different flavors to try out (including the chocolate mint).

All the Whey prices are incredible. Have you guys seen the Creatine EE and the WHey Concentrate prices? ANy good reviews for their products

Laura sent me samples awhile back and I personally could not believe how good it tasted.......

mixed easily with a spoon, tasted great, and price is awesome.
They have a real winner with this blend for sure!

My order came in this afternoon, so I'm happy. I got the Optimum Blend in vanilla and chocolate mint, Lean & Fit MRP in chocolate and bananna flavors, and Whey Isolate unflavored. One thing I noticed (although I'm not too worried about it) was that the vanilla and bananna containers didn't come with the foam paper seals under their lids, while the other three cans had the freshness seals under theirs. The cans without the seals were clean around the top, which looks like they just didn't have them under the lid to begin with. All containers had the lids with the tear-away strips around them still intact, and the lids wouldn't have come off without removing those. So probably nothing to worry about, but it might be something to look into why some have the seals while others don't in the assembly line. They were all 5 pound jugs except for the whey isolate. So far, I've tried the choc mint and liked that, the bananna which is good too, and the unflavored Whey Isolate has a slight sweet dairy whey flavor to it which is okay and should be useful (I'd like to try a little coffee flavoring in it). The ones I've tried are all mixing easily so far. An unexpected pleasure (now don't laugh... a lot of you do this too...:stick: ) was simply how much fun it is to be able to reach so much of your arm way down deep into these nice big jugs while searching around for the scoop, which is something that I've always dreaded until now. Next time I also want to try some of the Milk Isolate and other slower-digesting Casein proteins.

I think I am still waiting for samples. (5 weeks, haha) I will agree with you that the price is outstanding!

Re the lids.

All the lids, as stated, have tear-away strips for security reasons.

We have switched to lids having a foam or pressure sensitive insert inside the lid.

I ordered a 5 lb tub of Chocolate yesterday, can't wait for it to get here. At $16.99 it was a steal.

I received the chocolate yesterday, it tastes great! It didn't mix that great, but if you use a shaker with a screen in it, it blends great!

Overall 10/10
