Atlas stones

I don't have an atlas stone made or bought yet and was wondering what exercises could be done to mimic it.?

EFS makes a stone loader, but really, nothing mimics it.

I'd suggest making some, or trying to find a local gym that has strongman competitors who have their own.

Also, you don't need Slater molds to make them. I did it with plaster of Paris around a rubber ball, let the plaster harden and pull the ball out. Then, fill it with concrete or cement and wait for that to set and bust off the dried plaster.

Ok. And awesome idea with the ball and plaster. I will definitely be doing that than buying a mold. What's the biggest you have made doing this?

402#.

The next will be ~350.

Also, it doesn't always come out to the weight it should. The size I made should have been a 354, but the mix came out heavier than it should've and weighed 402. Marshall White said that's just how it happens sometimes.

Also, if you do the ball and plaster make sure you have the ball circumference measured correctly to get the right size.

And, you have to shake it every time you put concrete in to get rid of as many air pockets as possible.

Rubber stability ball, although you will need a different ball for smaller stones because the stability balls are fairly large.
