ATD Hypothetical

Hello everyone!

My question is in regards to the use of ATD (1,4,6-Androstatrien-3,17-dione) as a testosterone booster. I am not interested in using the compound as part of Steroid Post Cycle Therapy or Steroid On-Cycle Estrogen Blocker, because I haven't and have no plans using anabolic/androgenic steroids/prohormones, at least, in the near future.

I have been doing research on ATD and found a study stating that ATD acts as an aromatization inhibitor, as well as it blocks testosterone from binding to the androgen receptor, which means that ATD may be completely useless as a testosterone booster – that is of course, assuming that the rate at which ATD blocks T from binding to AR is pretty high.

So here is my thought: IF, we assume that the rate at which ATD blocks T from binding to AR is lower than the rate at which ATD inhibits estrogen, would it not be beneficial to take ATD at very low dosage – for example 25 mg per day or every other day – and thus, 1. block estrogen to a certain degree, but not completely abolish it from the body, 2. have less abruption upon the androgen receptor and its affinity to testosterone, and 3. as a result, have more free testosterone in the blood stream, which may lead to slightly better muscle/strength gains overall.

Note 1: I know ATD is an old, old topic, but please bare with me and if you have any expertise, don't hesitate to share it.

Note 2: ATD is ran by itself, with no other compounds in conjunction.

Note 3: Anyone and everyone, feel free to rip my theory apart. Of course, I would hope that one would give constructive and well supported criticism.

Thanks in advance!
