Astragin and epicatechin

Is it safe to assume astragin would increase epicatechin absorption?

Thinking of picking up some Epi-Plex but the bioavalability issues that seemed to be in every Epi discussion of the past still has me on the fence.

epi-plex includes 20mg of piperine per cap. you can def stack it with astragin as well .. ive taken supplements with astragin and enjoyed my run of epi-plex

best epicathechin product in the market.

I don’t remember the data, but I’m pretty sure I read once that other catechins can improve absorption. You could throw in a cap of regular green tea or cocoa extract. If you want to try astragin, you could just stack it with something that already contains it, but obviously that can skew your assessment of the epicatechin itself. AstraGin should work with a wide variety of compounds, but I don’t know what, if anything, wouldn’t work.

Epi-Plex contains 300 mg. per capsule of Epicatechin along with 20 mg. Bioperine/Piperine to improve absorption.

Which works best between Bioperine and AstraGin largely depends on the ingredient and what the issue with absorption is to begin with, and in this case Bioperine would be the better option. AstraGin wouldn't hurt, but not sure it would help.

The oral bioavailability issues with Epicatechin are greatly overexaggerated to begin with. If you take an effective dosage of Epicatechin with Bioperine, like in Epi-Plex, you're absorbing plenty to see results.

I have taken epi when it first came out with NO absorption enhancement and it delivered, hence why it is still around almost a decade later(I think) so any product that enhances absorption is going above and beyond. No fence to sit on if the products benefits are what you are looking for I think you will be happy with it.

If you look at new ingredients that came out over the last decade I have a hard time thinking of anything else that has as many people using it as an almost staple compound daily. Many others have bought and continue to buy epi which says a lot.
