I know the importance of pct and have learnt much from reading and listening to people but one thing iv never heard and havnt seen on the boards is how do you asses proper pct. have i missed a thread that tells how to determine that your pct is adequite for what you have taken. understanding what to take is one thing but knowing why is what id like to know. ill keep bummin around but could someone throw me a thread or something and if its been answered well beat me with a stupid stcik.

Realistically, assessment would come from bloodwork.

PCT is run in order to re-establish baseline hormone levels. The main purpose is to jumpstart natural Testosterone production after running AAS that suppress it. That is the reasoning behind incorporationg a SERM as the base for PCT.

I understand the purpose of serms. So if in the perfect situation where you had acces to everything your pct would be bassed on blood work results during and at the end of your cycle compared to resluts before right? " makes sense to me" but how do you know " lets say you didnt have a doctor next to you" what to take . Lets say your resluts were A how do you know that taking product B for C amount of time will "fix" the problem. I know its sounding like a picky situation but im curious.

I would not put much credence into levels while "ON" AAS as they are exogenous and will skew levels which will not give you an accurate idea of what is going on with your endogenous Test production.

You do not know anything for sure. You just go with the standard and work from there. Welcome to the world of pharmacotherapy, start at dose A and adjust as needed for desired results.
