Ashwaganda, do you use it? whats the benefits etc

Are you under a lot of stress or someone with a lot of anxiety naturally? If not then I don't think you'll see much in this regard. For me, it helped me adapt to stress in a way no other ingredient has done as of yet. Rhodiola makes me feel good and washes away a lot of negative thoughts/emotions, but nothing takes the edge off like KSM-66. You need be "on edge" for it to work its magic though.

I've always generally been anxious about things and I've got exams coming up. I felt pretty tired after taking the two caps at once tonight. I'll give it a couple of weeks before really judging it. I'm thinking of picking up some Rhodiola and Bacopa to try again as well.
 
I use Ashwag daily along with GABA and 5HTP for mood health and anxiolytic effects. It's great stuff. I'm happy that this became an adaptogen thread. Now I have more ideas to try!

I haven't noticed any instant anxiety relief/relaxation from any of the doses so far. I've only taken 300mg morning and 300mg night yesterday. I took 300mg this morning. I may try 600mg tonight and see if there's any instant relief. Has anyone noticed a difference in taking it with or without food?

This is just what I have found to work well for me: I switched my ashwaganda ( ksm 66 600 mg) to about an hour after dinner ( right before bed) but in the morning, just before breakfast I have between 3-400 mg l- theanine with ( usually 2-3) cups of coffee (if I don't get enough caffeine through coffee I have a caffeine pill) ( this really gives me good energy without the irritability or edginess) then I go to the gym about 45 minutes after breakfast, as soon as I'm finished at the gym I have a tsp. Of raw cacao alongside a pill ( not sure the milligrams) of rhodiola. ( I use to get really bad fatigue right after the gym, that interfered with obligations I had in the late morning to early afternoon, the rhodiola, raw cacao mix has seemed to help a bit with that) all these supplements are dirt cheap.
 
Used to use Adrenosurge from BPS when dsade still made it. Worked really well for that adrenal fatigue and stress. Now I just picked up some jarrows KSM 66 on amazon. Should be here later on today!

I read Jarrow has no less than 5% withanolides. For the price point, that's really good I think.

Not to mention that at two caps per day, which is 600 mgs, the product last for two months. Definitely a great value.
