Article: Working With Landmines

I've been using these for many years and had no idea they were called landmines. lol. Great for high rep days or end of routine burnout.

Wish my gym had these.. We have found ways of doing these exercises and others like them with the use of yoga mats and large dumbbells to anchor the bar.

None of my gyms before my current one had a spot. I'd just go to a corner of the gym and throw a BB into the corner of a wall.

Every gym should utilize these as they open a functional window for every individual. Wish our gym had one but corners work just as swell. Def. dont use a towel on the corners lol.

These are great! Luckily at the base gyms we have the attachments that connect to the smith machines and even the sleeves attachment that goes into the corner of a room. Love doing these to strengthen the core and minimizes the stress on my shoulders and delts.

yeah I have no idea where I got it from but for years I was literally the only person to do it at the gym;

recently I found out it is called a landmine and can even tell those looking at me silly that I am landmine pressing :)

This is how I set them up 110db and 45lb plate backing it for each one on the bar.
