Yeah they all work for various goals but honestly none of them are being used at the top pro bb'r level except the TKD, which is nothing more than cutting carbs to dry up in the last few weeks before a contest.
I'd say it's highly individual for each person based on their activity level, current health, genetics and willingness to dedication. Someone with high activity level, already very lean and with near ideal genetics doesn't need a fad diet to get things done while a 38 yr old soccer mom who only has 30 minutes of training she can dedicate herself to for 3 days a week may need to consider one of these marketed diets.
