Article: Whey Protects Against Overtraining

''Whey protein concentrate has been shown to raise glutathione higher than normal levels and beyond that of any other protein source studied.''

Awesome! Im very skeptical when it comes to new products and all the hype and marketing that comes with it. I never saw the need to switch my concentrate protein for isolate or hydralized. I din´t know about glutathione.. instead my decision was based on the fact that the body can wait what? 5 more minutes to digest concentrate as oposed to hydralized whey?

Granted most builders back in the days used roids but they all ate chicken and eggs for protein and those are hour long digestion proteins and they still grew pretty big.

Lol proper nutrition protects against over training. No eat no grow plain and simple. Over training is a fallacy made by those that don't eat enough. Yet another waste of article. Maybe I'll start writing bro science based articles while I'm unemployed for some money I bet I can come up with crazy sh!t too.

Completely wrong in my opinion. I've experienced overtraining periods plenty of times in my life (because I would stupidly pump 8x per week, 2 hours per pump) with immaculate nutrition habits. Yes, you are definitely right that there are punk nerds out there who eat only 4 small meals per day and complain about fatigue, joint pain, heavy soreness, etc. but to say that perfect nutrition could triumphs overtraining is nonsense, especially this bullcrap article. Yes, whey will certainly help fight off over training but this will mislead people into thinking that whey is a miracle powder.
