I somewhat agree with this, and strongly disagree with it at the same time. It is a complex issue that most people don't even begin to understand, which is why it is such a widespread issue. The fact of the matter is, if you aren't a diligent, almost obsessive health and fitness type - you are most likely going to be misinformed and make bad choices.
Your statement is like saying, "They need more willpower!" when study after study has shown that the concept of willpower is mythical.
But on the other hand, part of that issue is that society is creating lazy people. I mean, most people don't even take the energy to think, forget about actually DOING something.
