Finding a dependable, able-body lifting partner can be a challenge. Different work schedules, family lives, motivation, intensity level and personality compatibility all come into play.
Its rough no doubt Ive been forced to primarily train alone, any training partner ive had either gave up after a week or so, or they got lazy and just started making excuses, or they just for whatever reason decide that they don't need to train. Kinda sucks but just gotta keep at it!
Same. It is my meditation and release from the day. I've got plenty of training partners from over the years, but now that is only to bounce ideas off of and periodically get a mental boost.
I'm not saying that its not good to take some time to yourself by training alone, its good to just tune out the bull**** and put some weight up, but as far as reaching goals whatever they may be I believe that having a capable training partner to give you that extra push/kick in the ass is beyond beneficial. And after exclusively training completely solo after a year it is hard to keep yourself on point with your goals laid out clearly in your mind. I dunno maybe thats just me.
A capable motivated partner has always been beneficial when I've had. Finding a consistent one has been the issue. That's when I turn to Five Finger Death Punch and HellYeah to motivate me. They are always available.
