Absolute brilliance from the master. Simplicity in program design, also tends to be much less of an emotional/motivational drain during a workout. And nothing will ever surpass the effectiveness of properly executed classic lifts, regardless of your underlying strength/size goals.
 
I can take some of this and leave some of this...I like the 3-days a week for busy phases of life (most of my summer is like this!) as well as thinking of food prep as "training", but this is really geared for powerlifters and people focused on strength, which is not my goal.
