Article: Train to Failure and Grow

Its funny because this guys advice for doing one or two warmup sets then going directly to his work weights goes directly against an article posted on this very website last week about warming up intelligently.

What happens when you can hardly move for the next few days, but you have to go to work and climb up ladders and move heavy stuff? Not really a practical way to train for most people I know.

These guys get big because they use a **** ton of anabolic steroids and other performance drugs and they eat and train as hard as they can. This doesn't mean they know what there doing it just means the drugs make them grow. These principles really make no difference for naturals

I'll agree that there is more than one way to skin a cat, but I disagree that the principles make no difference for naturals, or people on steroids for that matter.

I find that for me personally, If I don't do a thorough deliberate scaling-up type of warm up, I am just asking for injury of some kind. Maybe some people can get away with diving right in, but for me, longer warm ups were an important part of the learning curve.
