BPI probably owns ChromaDex, what a joke. Kinda like how MusclePharms EVP of Marketing is brothers with the CEO of Bodybuilding.com. No wonder they keep winning awards for sub-par products!
 
Im pretty sure no one is sending every lot, of every flavor to ChromaDex for testing, and unless ChromaDex is pulling random samples from the production line, what good is the seal? Now with that said, I have used ChromaDex years ago for testing, and this company is one if not the best for HPLC testing. TLC testing on every batch and every flavor quantifying every amino acid would shoot anyone's retail cost up pretty high.
 
Yeah, Jeremy, Ryan's brother (founder of bb.com) is EVP of Muscle Pharm. Jeremy is a cool dude, and when they sold most of bodybuilding.com to some large company, Jeremy left to work and build Muscle Pharm. Ive known Jeremy since like 2002. But that would tend to put MP in the front running for every award every year..
 
Nice Chuck, glad to see some feedback from a veteran of the industry. Unless a company is backed by a VC (or a few for that matter) I don't see this gaining any traction. The FDA will have a field day with over half of the brands out there right now soon anyway so they might as well let things run their course to weed out the plethora of upcoming lawsuits, panic'd product reformulations and bankrupt companies.
 
^^^ haha Sht, I rem back in the day, say pre-2009 you couldnt slap "Whey Isolate" on anything that didnt have a finished protein % of 90% whey by volume, Concentrate had to be 80% or more, not people are selling "Isolate" that calculates to 80% protein and 65% as a concentrate by volume. Its like what you buying 5lbs for??
