"Let's pretend there is a magical stack" how the **** am I supposed to listen to advice from someone who is too afraid to use the word steroids. It's pathetic and I really hate how people undermine the power of anabolic drugs

As far as massive transformations go in a 10wk period, of course it's going to be steroids. What the author is saying is that you can't expect to stay that big & lean without dedication to the lifestyle. Dedication to staying in the gym, eating all the food, using all the drugs. You run some gear and come off, you're gonna lose a lot of it (the water & glycogen immediately, but the muscle will steadily fall off as well without the extra hormones to support it). The author is just arguing that it's all meaningless if you aren't willing to commit.

I'd say he's half right. I don't see the point of being a fairweather lifter, but it's also true that there will come a point for all of us where age, injury, or lack of interest will prevent us from continuing to build (steroids or no). I know should I live to be 70 I'm not going to be squatting like I do now, but it's still worth it to me to just enjoy it for today.

Your anti-steroid obsession must be hard on you. It must eat at you daily. Lose a girl you loved to some juice head? What is it about your insecurities that makes you so obsessive?

FYI, Those 18-20 year old kids wouldn't be asking you for advice if they saw you when you were 18-20. Everyone makes gains with age if they train.

That's not true. I've seen people that have "lifted" for 10 years and you couldn't tell they lifted.

This. And I've seen kids who've only lifted a year and I swore they were taking drugs to get that big (not that I minded, I just couldn't believe their progress)....then they told me they were gonna run some ph/ds, and they absolutely blew up. And they still really didn't know much about lifting; certainly not someone you wanted to try to learn to squat from.

Im not saying its a concreate rule for everyone but in general most guys get bigger with age
