And "peanut butter" is a very vague product. Go eat a jar of sugar laden Peter Pan every day lol
That was ridiculous. Bacon?? Peanut butter??I have been using a "Keto" type diet for a couple years now. Example; 7-8 eggs scrambled. 1/2 gallon of water mixed with 5grms creatine. 2 hours later first whey smoothie with water and banana. 2 hours later can of chunk whole tuna with chopped celery and broccoli mixed in. 2-3 hours later another whey smoothie. supper long grain brown rice with quinoa. Gettin the picture. I go about 175-80 grms protien, 30-50grms carbs, 10-12 grms fat. My energy level is awesome and im big and lean. Its tough for the first month, then your body starts to run real well on just protien. Yes its a pre-comp diet, but you can tweak it. Just stay away from bacon and peanut butter. Unreal.
You must be on more than 30-50g carbs. A banana alone has about 20-25g, and the rice and quinoa on top will prob push it closer to 100 unless you're having teaspoon size amounts. Whatever you're doing it's working I'm sure, but doesn't seem all that 'keto'. What's wrong with bacon btw?
Gf got this new coconut oil that stays a liquid. It's called NuCo I think and they have plain, garlic, few other flavors. It's cool cuz it doesn't turn solid. What's weird is the ingredients list just coconut oil so I don't understand how I'd doesn't solidify
I need to look into this. I don't use coconut oil in my shakes because it always solidifies.... but it would taste amazing in there.
The ketogenic diet does not burn fat and build muscle. Steroids do. this diet is not going to shred your love handles and build pounds of muscle. I stopped reading at lean mass. Lean muscle is a fake term created by the fitness industry to sell supplements. When is muscle not lean? Never. Muscle is always lean. It is the most ridiculous term I have ever heard in my life
