Article: The Fat That Makes You Fat

Good info! I do believe all the dieticians are wrong about this, I remember quite clearly the "low fat" craze in the 80's/90's, which in part led to the massive amounts of added sugar we are seeing today. So yes they can be wrong!

I'm a newbie, but now, a scared newbie. I've been dosing CLA because it's supposed to help me reduce body fat. This particular batch contains extra virgin olive oil and avocado oil. Based on reading this post and the source page, it sounds to me as though I should avoid even CLA. Then I read the info on the page related to the link for Flameout...which contains both forms of CLA. The difference being that the CLA I just purchased is plant based, and althouth Flameout is partially derived from safllower oil, the majority of it seems to be from fish oil. Am I even close to being on the right track?

You mention Peanuts being high in LA, but what about natural peanut butters. The brand I use only has 1g of polyunsaturated fat, 12g of monounsaturated fat, and 3g of sat. fat.
