Planned overtraining lol I think these guys just need to keep pumping out workout routines to make money and to stay relevant whether it works or not. Overtraining = Counterproductive
 
The technique used absolutely drains the body. Once recovered you're 110% stronger. My wrestling coach uses this cycle. There will be periods of extreme exhaustion then lighter practices the week after. This gets us peaking at the end of season to win state. I can't wait to apply this to my lifting regimen!
