Article: Suffering Doesn't Equal Success

This is a expensive life style.
It costs me around 20EUR a day and the cost of food is only going up here in Spain.
I could cut my shopping bill in half but would only end up with a load of poor quality food.

I get 189 dollars worth of food stamp a month in Michigan and this is not enough for me and my siblings but yes broccoli oats and chicken and tuna are all reasonable. I feel like I eat very healthy and can suffice without spending a lot.

Why isn't there any mention of shakes? Whether food comes from chewing, as in solid food or from a blender makes no dam difference. The only difference is the ungodly amount of time it takes to prepare food. What is the difference if you use some protein powder, add some oatmeal, throw in an egg or some peanut butter in the blender and drink it. How is that any difference than sitting down and eating, aside from the amount of time it takes?

Several differences really. No matter how you slice it, liquid food absorbs faster and therefore enters the blood faster. This means that, although it can replenish stores faster when needed, if consumed when the body doesn't need the amount it will be stored. Also, there are many nutrients and cofactors that are available in "real food" that simply isn't in powders and shakes. Try eating lots of green veggies for a while along with your protein sources and see how much easier it is to both add muscle and lose fat.

"People who actually spend an hour or two a day cooking and weighing meals for the following week usually have no interest in telling everyone at the gym or on their instagram account how much time they spend in the kitchen." - never a truer thing said. Just do it. Results speak for themselves. ....And hes right, its not expensive. Stop buying crap, buy in bulk, and plan your meals correctly.
