Why are only some of the participants cancer survivors? That is a completely non-random sample. and why should we expect them to be under more stress? A questionnaire does not give reliable insight into who was more stressed than the others. Some people tend to exaggerate and others tend under-exaggerate. With a small non-random sample and a completely arbitrary way of testing stress I don't find this study very reliable.
