Article: Strategies For Ectomorphs

I was and am an ecto if there ever was one. I've learned that I need to eat like a monster to grow. Making homemade weight gainers (oats, PB, olive oil, whey...etc) are a great addition.
I don't think adopting different workouts is really neccessary, but I wouldnt do a lot of isolation exercises. Squats, deadlifts, bench, and chin ups should be the base of your routine. Eat a lot of low gi carbs, and a lot of protein and get growing!
 
Loved this article. I consider myself Ecto as well and I'm currently trying to gain size. Eating enough is the hardest part of it so far for me.
 
Awesome article iv been trying so hard to out a way to get some meat on my bones but never could because I just listened to every body else you isn't an ectomorph but now I know thanks for the work out tips as well
 
how about for those who are ecto-endo?

i was an ecto. packed on some mass.
i have a question tho, after gaining and your body starts to resemble a meso, would you still fall under ecto?

I've never heard of an ecto-endo. Seems contradictory to me. But id say after you pack on weight and resemble a meso... you would still be kind of an ecto because that new muscle will burn even more calories and you'll have to eat like a monster to make continued gains (ecto like), but you'll probably still stay lean without much effort (ecto like).
