Honestly learning to plant my feet on ground correctly really helped improve my bench. I bring them in towards the bench just to where I can keep them flat without having my heels lift off the ground.
Another thing that helped me personally was keeping my elbows in. I am very long so I always struggled with bench but one day this massive dude told me to try and bend the bar in half when dropping it to your chest. After implementing both of those my bench improved over night.
Just wanted to share my experience because I went years without these tips and would have killed to have been taught them sooner.
