Is it possible that the addition of the protein spiked the insulin more in the Wheaties group-leading to quicker glycogenesis?

This isn't a Kali reference but a lot of guys would eat dry top ramen without the sodium packet- for pre workout energy. It's just carbs. Food is food. The body doesn't discriminate

Milk and cornflakes? Really? I usually just take soy mix afterwards and i find that my muscles recover faster. cornflakes and milk will leave me hungry.

That guy has good genetics and does steroids. The average person should not eat dry ramen noodles before working out.

If food is food then eat a ****ing banana lol... Dry ramen is ridiculous.

The banana didn't make it past lunch. The ramen survived the day in the gym bag with the can of tuna and tub of whey... also about half the price of the banana. I'm not talking about Kali I'm talking about guys in the gym that I sweat, puked and bled with. Hardworking blue collar men who maximize the caloric value of every penny.
