Stopped reading at no need for pre workout carbs

As long as you are providing the body with other source of fuel, such as fat, it is perfectly fine to workout without carbs. I swim 5 thousand meters (5.468 yards) twice a week on 90 grams of mixture of nuts (60 g peanuts + 30g Brazil nuts).

You just need a little longer for digestion instead of 45-60m prior exercice I eat them 90m before.

The type of workout defines the need.

Aerobic only? Sure, wont need glycogen.

Anaerobic? Needs glucose that can convert quickly, unfortunately fats dont do this quickly so its either carbs or ur muscle aminos, which isnt ideal.

The best preworkout I've had ever is sweet potato and greek yogurt. Drink BCAA's intraworkout.

Fats, can be ideal source of energy, if you ate them 3-4 hours (and more) before workout.

Very interesting article!

Fats cant be processed quick enough for anaerobic energy because they arent available when the muscles need them. This is why being an athlete and going keto is a bad idea. Its not a matter of how quick the fats get metabolized, its that they cant enter into the muscle cell from thr blood stream without oxygen.

Lifting weights is anaerobic. That word, anaerobic, means "without oxygen".

not eating complex carbs is just a stupid fad anyway,
