Article: Myths About Women And Weightlifting

Now this article is what every personal trainer needs to know and be able to convince someone in order to train them with maximal results. My girlfriend did 1 ****ing workout with me and quit, because she didn't want to get to big, it was too hard, she didn't like it, well **** woman. If you want results train for it! /rant
 
I have been married now for 6yrs and FINALLY convinced my wife that if she wanted the results she's after she must lift weights. She has done cardio on our elliptical consistently and kept saying she is not where she wants to be. I told her to let me help her out by putting together a weight training program (which includes tire flips) and she loves it. It only took 6 yrs.....go figure :)
 
damn...i guess I'm lucky. My wife is thin and has a nice physique.For a gamer chic who just sits in front of the computer all day or playing halo with me for a half the day her metabolism is faster than mine that's for sure. When she sees me hitting the weights,kick boxing,running my miles,jump roping...pretty much the whole routine made her get jealous of me.Then she got self conscious.Worrying about how she would end up getting fat when she would get older and her metabolism just might go to crap...I just got her to follow my directions on what I was taking and my work out regimen.With no struggle at all she noticed why I worked out so intensely...she experienced the high I would get from a good work out.lol! She's a natural at it. =)
