Actually a good article. I'm that guy who pays close attention to macros but don't go into a nervous breakdown if I miss my "normal" premade lunch and stop at Subway instead.
Absolutely no difference to growth ever noticed good or bad.
 
I used to be example A, and spent waaaayyy too much time dicking around with a food scale and measuring cup. I am now much closer to example B, listen to what my body needs, and also stronger and leaner. IIFYM works, at least for me, and I suspect anyone else that has a clue about macros.
 
I follow IIFYM to a T, with once a week cheat MEAL.

Look closely, he doesn't agree with IIFYM, and or intermittent fasting.

If someone had a 20/4 window and ate all their macros at night, it'd get deposited into "the macro bank" as he put it?

IIFYM is a sustainable diet and enjoyable.
