Think about if your eating a deficit in daily calories for weeks, your body will begin to adjust to the deficit and learn how to become more efficient thus reducing the weightless effects of the deficit. Added cheat meals makes your metabolism think your are no longer in starvation mode and there is a surplus if food comming so it drops some of it defenses. Then bam you hit it with deficit again and your back to losing fat. Cheat meals ate a must... Though I normally have cheat days and drink most of my calories.

In simple words? It jump starts the metabolism .. Last Christmas I ate 2 homemade pies,( made with Splenda, lol) and enough turkey, potatoes, gravy etc. to feed a family of 4, and I still lost weight the next day... This system^^^ really works!!!
