Article: I3C Helps Avoid Fat Gain

"Indole-3-Carbinol changed the fat cells, the Taiwanese discovered. The figure above shows how it inhibited the synthesis of the enzyme acetyl coenzyme in the fat cells. This enzyme plays a key role in binding nutrients in the form of fat."

Are they talkin about acetyl-CoA or ACAA1 or 2? ACAT? ACSS2? these are all different acetyl coenzymes that all serve different functions. or does it inhibit the general production of of acetyl coenzyme in general? This could be some really good news but its lackin some details. It could be way more specific as to what exactly the I3C is doin.

The testing methods are right, concise and conclusive, but you bring up a good thought which could be the follow up question to this study.
