Article: Hair Loss Fixes

I can attest that the nioxin has helped me a lot. It basically does what is described. I tried a minoxidil product and it was messy, made my scalp dry and nasty red, and didnt help much. My doctor wouldnt even advocate for propecia and there is a lot of negative feedback on it. Rather lose my hair than my chubbies.

What does Nioxin have in it that helps keep your hair. I've looked at the ingredients and have not been impressed. I figured a shampoo with Ketoconazole would be listed.

I've been taking Propecia for 3 years and have not suffered any side effects. When I tell people I take Propecia, they always say "Why, you have really thick hair?" It works. Yes, some people have had horrible side effects in rare cases, but most people are just fine.

Thats awesome you aren't having side effects and its working that well for you. Hope it stays that way. Basically the way the conversation went with the doc was if it was a medical problem, maybe some risk of those sides would be worth it. But its purely a vanity thing so it just wasn't important enough to me much less the cost.
