Hmmmm.....may have to give this a shot for a few weeks and see what happens.
 
I think they could have used any other excercise instead of legpress. Doing a few sets of bicep curls for one arm only does not seem like a workout. Maybe add another 50 minutes of anything and you get way better results.

They had the subjects use one arm do they could compare strength increases. It was for measurement purposes.
 
What I was saying is that it is pretty close to 0 volume and I think that ANY addef volume will give you a better response, doesn't have to be legs.
