I would have liked to see Pronated vs. Neutral grip instead. Erbody already knows that wide grip isolates the lats more than closer by removing bicep engagement.
 
What is best IYO in building lower lats?

Pulls downs, both wide-grip, and two-handled individual grips on pull down pulleys. This make a for a more natural movement.

Look into how Flex Lewis performs angled variations to his pulldowns. There are a few ways to target them differently.

Pull ups, both weighted and bodyweight also are effective.

Rows usually hit stuff like rhomboids, traps and teres minor/major.
