Article: Endogenous growth hormone keeps older athletes yo

This is not a study, it's just a test, therefore, their conclusion is invalid IMO. A study would follow a group of test subjects over the (hypothetical) 15 year interval, and so might draw some useful conclusions. The huge unanswered question here is, are the athletes they tested still active because their bodies naturally produce high(er) amounts of GH, or do their bodies produce high(er) amounts of GH because they're still active? The conclusion assumes the latter but I don't see where their test shows that to be a valid assumption. This is clearly an important question, esp. to older athletes considering supplementation.

Ya I was thinking that too. I know from exp. that years of consistent ( 6 days a week) intense, moderate to heavy lifting and some extra test, have kept me improving into my early 50s. As far as my Gh levels staying high, hmmm, thats hard to say.I think its all about the added test. and of course a high pro diet.Plus my doc told me my thyroid gland production was above average, and at first I was freaked out. Till I did research and found out it is really benefiting me and played a big role in my freaky metabolism.

I've been working out pretty consistently for years as well. I started supplementing a bit with GHRP about a year ago and I was blown away how well it worked, esp. in regards to sleep quality. My sleep had really gone downhill, but a wee bit GHRP and boom it's back. I've talked to a lot of people about their sleep over the years so I think it's really common for sleep quality to degrade as people get older, but it seems like that doesn't happen to everyone. I think GH plays a pretty big role in sleep quality, which for athletes is pretty important in terms of recovery. So I think if an athlete is unlucky genetically and their GH production falls off in their 40s then they'd be likely to quit, from being too tired if for no other reason.

Ya I have a buddy who says GHRP changed his life and saved his marriage!! Also have a few friends who are "genetically challenged" and have grown tired of the gym and training. I keep trying to get them on some TRT but they happy with ice cream and HBO.
